Depending on what we find, we may recommend independent third-party air or surface sampling before work begins, particularly when mold is suspected but not visibly confirmed, or when it's spread through HVAC.

Once we know the scope, we contain the work area with physical barriers and set up negative air pressure using HEPA-filtered equipment, so spores generated during removal don't migrate into unaffected rooms through doorways or the duct system. Inside containment, we remove mold-colonized porous materials — drywall, insulation, affected flooring — rather than attempting to clean and save them, because materials that have been colonized typically can't be reliably returned to a normal condition. Remaining surfaces are then HEPA-vacuumed and cleaned with an antimicrobial treatment.
